Wheel of the Year Home Decoration

'WHEEL OF THE YEAR' HOME DECORATION - YELLOW
Unique home decoration with the wheel of the year printed on wood. Comes with a wooden stand. Move with the rhythm of nature by turning the wheel of the year with the seasons. Perfect decoration for a magical place in your home, for example on your altar. Unique/Own illustration of SB Designs Creations.
HOW DO YOU USE THIS WHEEL OF THE YEAR?
This wheel is for anyone who wants to move more consciously with the rhythm of nature. As the seasons change, you can let the wheel turn. The wheel fits easily in the stand (it does stand firmly) so you can turn it easily. The (pagan) sabbaths have fixed dates, but this wheel also works on your own feelings.

You can let the year wheel rotate on the actual sabbath dates, but you can also do this by feel. When you feel that we are leaving the energy of one sabbath behind and you are starting to feel the energy of the next one, you can spin the wheel. By being aware of nature and its seasons, you strengthen your connection with nature's energy.
☽ ABOUT THE DESIGN | WHEEL OF THE YEAR ☾
The energy of nature changes throughout the year. From spring to summer, to autumn, to winter. Nature moves undisturbed in its own rhythm. The 8 (Pagan) sabbaths reflect on the energy of a certain moment in the year. Think of the start of a new season and what energy goes with it. Each sabbath is linked to certain events and certain symbols. This wheel of the year has an illustrative representation for each year party with plants, animals and other symbolism that fits the relevant sabbath.

The phases of the moon, each of which also corresponds to a certain sabbath, are also incorporated in the wheel. The sun shines in the middle. The Earth revolves around the sun in about 365 days. The sun in the middle of the wheel of the year therefore represents the solar cycle; 1 full year. The elements earth, air, fire & water have also been given a place in the wheel of the year at the sabbath with which they are most associated.

The illustration is drawn by hand and digitally edited. I also added handmade textures from different texture techniques (such as paint textures and our own marble paper).
